The ECtHR on July 8th, 2022 issued an interim measure in the case of Judge Raczkowski, whose immunity was to be lifted by the Disciplinary Chamber (acting despite a €1 million per day fine) on Monday. Under the safeguard, the Disciplinary Chamber cannot take any action in his case.
The Court also communicated the case of Judge Beata Morawiec under Article 6 of the Convention (right to a court), Article 8 (right to private and family life) and Article 10 (freedom of expression).
